The scent of June is crisp, clear, green, and dewy under a soft morning light, mixed with the faint, warm trace of sweat, sticky hands from melted ice cream, and the laughter of people around — it's all these things that make it feel so much sweeter to be alive. This month is special to me, it's my birth month after all, and I've got a whole list of small things I loved along the way.
Nothing here is groundbreaking or practically new, BUT some of it is! I never appreciated thing I find or do enough. I didn't do anything special for my birthday, but having people I love around was enough. The 2026 Summer Game Fest was here too, not forgetting the heatwave, lol. I've always lived in a hot climate so I feel no difference, yet I'm praying for everyone in the world to have better summer days!
I also loved every meme and dissection around the World Cup even though I understand nothing of football, it's just fun to live the experience with people. I wanted to read more this month, but oh well, what can you do?
The coconut cake
A really simple coconut cake I found on sale once, and I was hooked. Whenever I felt like doing something special like watching a movie, playing a game I'd been waiting for I would order one. Now it's tied to good times in my book, lol.
What I played and watched
Glad you asked!! so MUCH! I really can't wait for Keyframes' summer release, but I try to stay grounded and enjoy what I have right now. I'm saving my crazy Keyframes post for the summer release don't mistake my silence about it for not caring, lol. I need a whole full post on my "thought bubbles" for this one alone.
Wan2Talk
A visual novel under development by Mirawake Studios. Everything about this game is exciting! the 2000s theme, the art, the characters. I could never shut up if I talked about the characters. Every one of them is unique, with a real element to them. None are perfect or overly fictional; they feel real, yet they're weirdos in a paranormal club going urban exploring to find the unknown.
I'm very curious to find more about him, since he seems the only one who truly believes in the paranormal and the other world. What gave him those scars? and what made him believe in this in the first place?
So guarded, yet he clearly yearns for a connection. I mean, why else join this weird group, huh? Obviously suffering from commitment issues AND Communication issues lol. and did I mention he has an attitude?
The sweet, sweet Genesis I feel like we'd be best friends. I can see her suffering from social anxiety irl but being more sociable online when we message her. Did i menteion how amazing her style is? So 2007-coded with the skunk streak, I love her style.
Hard for me to read so far. She comes from money, well-behaved, pretty, why would she join this weird social gathering? I don't know, I need more from her to get a basic understanding.
Nothing much is clear about our MC other than bumping into someone with an eerie, otherworldly aura. Other than that, you mostly get to choose how you'd react to the world around you.
Honorable mention: Cabernet
You just turned into a vampire?! how would you lead your new life? Embrace the vampire lifestyle, or try to keep your humanity? You get to shape your new life and relationships; everything in your past is meaningless now.what does it mean to be a vampire to you anyway?. I Didn't play the whole game yet to have a solid opinion, but I'm enjoying the journey nonetheless.

I remembered a lot of people who I used to play/chat with and I wonder what happened to them? Weird how we would spend hours chatting and playing daily just for us to drift apart one day without Realizing it, just slowly being busy with life talking less and less until there is no more, weird huh… but I guess that’s life and this is an indicator to how effort is essential to a relationship

There is a serene sad feeling I can’t understand when I listen to it, love is amazing and this song feel like someone loving unconditionally your current self, the past in unimportant anymore, you are loved in the current time and that’s what we should focus on.

Yet I love this so much how pure and genuine their love was, and how they never regretted meeting each other. Idk what to say other than beautiful.
Tongari Boushi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier)
officially my favorite anime of the spring season, just ended in June! Everything about this anime is stunning! The world building is immersive; the visuals are breathtaking. I loved how coco was written; she is a child whose life turned upside down in one day. And the anime shows how she manages her new life as a witch not being easy yet she is driven by ambition and guilt to improve in a short time. and her blooming friendship with the girls and tartah warmed my heart.

This month's shade
Honestly, I've been a bit lazy with my designs lately, lol, especially with exams taking up half my energy and time. But I've found myself more interested in drawing I really want to create something from zero, you know?
I'm obsessed with watery and aqua vibes lately. Discovering the Frutiger Aero aesthetic has been so much fun, and I've been trying hard to master that "glass effect" this month. I'm nowhere near good enough yet, lol, but I just love the crystal look — like a cool, refreshing escape.
